How the Climate Controlled Ballroom at Fort Worth Country Memories Keeps Texas Summer Weddings Comfortable and Elegant

Summer in Texas brings long days, golden light, and temperatures that can make even the most enthusiastic wedding guests seek out the nearest fan. If you’re planning a warm-weather celebration, you’ve probably wondered how to give your loved ones an elegant experience without subjecting them to the heat. At Fort Worth Country Memories, we have built a climate-controlled ballroom with that exact concern in mind.

Why Climate Control Matters for Texas Summer Weddings

We talk to couples every week who love the idea of a Texas wedding but worry about the weather. It’s a fair concern. June through September can bring triple-digit temperatures, and even evening ceremonies don’t guarantee relief. You need a backup plan that doesn’t feel like a compromise.

The Ballroom That Stays Comfortable Year-Round

Our ballroom seats up to 150 guests and features full heating and air conditioning. The heating and air conditioning keep the space at exactly the temperature you choose, while chandeliers cast warm light across tables draped in linens. Your caterer has a full kitchen to work in, and the couples’ table we provide sits at the center of the room under soft lighting, creating a natural focal point for toasts and first dances.

The Bluetooth speaker system means your music sounds clear, and the space itself feels polished and intentional. Because we maintain climate control year-round, your guests can enjoy dinner, toasts, and dancing without worrying about the weather.

Flexible Indoor and Outdoor Flow

You’re not limited to one space. Many couples choose our Open Air Chapel for the ceremony, a covered structure that’s closed on three sides and features an octagon arch and 12 antique church pews. When it’s time for the reception, everyone moves to the air-conditioned ballroom just steps away.

If you prefer an outdoor cocktail hour, the Cedar Pavilion offers a covered area with wooden tables, chairs, and ceiling fans. When it’s time for dinner, you transition indoors where the temperature is exactly what you want it to be.

Climate Controlled Getting Ready Spaces

The Loft upstairs features seven lighted mirrors, seating, two private dressing rooms with climate control, and a balcony. The Den provides an additional dressing area with bar stools, a large mirror, and climate control. Both spaces were designed with comfort in mind, so your wedding party can relax and get ready without feeling cramped or overheated.

What’s Included When You Book

Every wedding package gives you access to the ballroom along with outdoor spaces. We provide the couples table, tablecloths, folding tables, wooden tables, benches, and seating for up to 150. The outdoor reception area includes a beverage bar, cake table, fridge, cooler, and ice machine, plus four restrooms.

Your package also includes event cleanup, free use of décor from The Marketplace (signs, mason jars, vases, lanterns, greenery, flowers, and arbor drapes), and up to 250 pounds of free ice. An on-site venue manager and closing assistant handle logistics, and you’ll have a planning session to map out your timeline.

Planning With an Open Vendor Policy

We don’t charge vendor surcharges, and you’re welcome to bring your own food or hire any professional caterer you choose. If you’re serving alcohol, it must be poured by our TABC-certified bartender, who carries liability insurance.

The full kitchen in the ballroom gives your caterer room to work, and the outdoor bar area provides a second beverage station if you want to keep drinks flowing in multiple spots.

Lodging and Weekend Packages

The Lodge gives you two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and space for up to eight overnight guests. It includes a fully furnished kitchen with dishes, cookware, and a coffee maker. The front and back decks have a grill, and you’ll find Wi Fi and a Keurig inside.

If you book The Weekender package, you check in at noon the day before your wedding and check out at 10:00 AM the day after. That gives you two nights in the Lodge and access to the venue from noon to 10:00 PM for rehearsal, then 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM on your wedding day. The Overnighter package includes one night, with check-in at noon on your wedding day and access from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
