Most couples spend months planning the ceremony and reception, but much less time thinking about everything around them. The night before, when nerves are high, and your wedding party is spread out. The moment the reception ends, everyone suddenly has to head in different directions. The morning after, when you still want a little more time with the people you love. The Lodge at Fort Worth Country Memories helps make those parts of the wedding weekend easier.

The Lodge at Fort Worth Country Memories accommodates up to eight overnight guests as part of the Weekender and Overnighter wedding packages, keeping the wedding party on-site from rehearsal evening through the morning after the reception. Two bedrooms, a full kitchen, decks, and pet-friendly access are included, with separate getting-ready spaces in The Loft and The Den available on the wedding day.

The Lodge Works Because Your Wedding Is a Weekend, Not a Single Day

Most venues hand you a single day and a hard-out time. We offer The Lodge as part of The Weekender and The Overnighter, and as an add-on for The Sunlight and Intimate Wedding packages, because a ceremony and a reception are really just the middle of the story. 

The night before: a rehearsal that actually helps

With the Weekender package, Lodge check-in is noon the day before your wedding. That evening, your guests have venue access from noon until 10 pm, so your rehearsal happens in the real space, on the real aisle, with the actual layout in front of everyone.

That matters more than it sounds. Walking your wedding party through the Open-Air Chapel, with its 12 antique pews and a covered design closed on three sides, is very different from describing it in a parking lot somewhere. Our main wedding packages include a planning session, an on-site venue assistant, and a closing helper to help keep the day organized.

Wedding day: everyone is already here

There is a particular calm that comes from your closest people being in the same place when the day starts. The eight guests staying in The Lodge wake up on the property. Wedding day access on The Weekender begins at 9 in the morning.

The Lodge has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen with dishes, cookware, and a coffee maker, coffee, creamer, and sugar included. There is Wi-Fi, two TVs with Amazon Prime, front and back decks, and a backyard grill. It is also handicap accessible, and pets are welcome with a maximum of two.

Getting ready is also more convenient on-site. The Loft upstairs in the barn includes seven lighted mirrors, two private dressing rooms, seating, a balcony, and heating and AC. The Den offers an additional dressing area with seating, bar stools, and a large mirror. Our signature red barn serves as a support space for dressing, cake service, the bartender, and bathrooms, rather than as the main event space.

After the reception, no one has to leave

The Weekender package includes venue access until 11 p.m. The eight guests staying in The Lodge can remain there after the event ends.

This is the part couples tend to bring up when they come back to see us. The quiet on the decks after the reception. Checkout is not until ten, so there is actual time to sit with the day before it is completely over. There is no hotel lobby or early alarm. Just the morning after, on your own timeline, with the people you kept close.

How the packages work

The Weekender is the two-night option and gives you the full arc from rehearsal evening through morning-after checkout. The Overnighter is one night, with Lodge check-in at noon on your wedding day, venue access from 11 am through 11 pm, and checkout at 10 am the next morning. For the Sunlight and Intimate Wedding packages, the Lodge rental is available as an add-on.

Our standard wedding packages accommodate up to 150 guests. Intimate wedding packages are designed for up to 50 guests, with options to increase the guest count for an added fee. If the weather shifts, you have both indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception spaces and can move between them.
