Why Couples Love Wedding Weekends With Lodging in Fort Worth
Planning a wedding in Fort Worth already takes enough energy. Most couples do not want to scatter their closest people across three different hotels the night before the ceremony, then spend the morning of their wedding texting everyone directions. That coordination headache is exactly what we built our lodging option to solve.
Fort Worth Country Memories offers wedding weekends with on-site lodging in The Lodge, accommodating up to eight overnight guests across two bedrooms with a full kitchen, decks, and pet-friendly access. The Weekender package includes venue access the day before for rehearsal, full wedding-day access from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., multiple ceremony and reception spaces, decor from the on-site library, bartender service, and an open vendor policy for catering.
At Fort Worth Country Memories, we offer wedding spaces and on-site lodging that make it easier to turn your celebration into a full wedding weekend. The Lodge sits right here on the property, so your wedding weekend can start the evening before and wind down the morning after, all in one place.
How On-Site Lodging Turns Your Wedding Into a Full Weekend
Honestly, the couples who book our Lodge stop thinking about their wedding as a single day pretty quickly. It becomes a whole weekend with the people they actually want around them. There are no hotel lobbies, coordinating rides, or rushed goodbyes. Just everyone together, right here on the property.
The Night Before: Rehearsal, Dinner, and a Real Exhale
Our Weekender package gives the wedding party access to the venue starting at noon the day before the ceremony, with that window running through 10 p.m. That gives you time for a rehearsal, time together with your closest people, and a more relaxed start before the wedding day begins.

The Lodge accommodates up to eight overnight guests. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a fully furnished kitchen stocked with dishes and cookware, a Keurig with coffee and creamer already waiting, two televisions with Amazon Prime, and front and back decks with a backyard grill. The Lodge is also handicap accessible and pet friendly, which matters more than couples tend to anticipate until they are deep in the planning process.
Getting Ready: The Loft and the Den
The morning of your wedding, the Loft and Den give your wedding party room to breathe. The Loft is upstairs in the red barn, which serves as a support space for getting ready, drinks, cake service, and restrooms. It has seven lighted Hollywood-style mirrors, two private dressing rooms, comfortable seating, and heating and air conditioning. The Den is a small additional getting-ready area with barstools, a large mirror, and its own climate control. Having both spaces helps your wedding party spread out and get ready more comfortably.
The Weekender package opens wedding day access at 9 a.m. and runs through 11 p.m., a long, unhurried day that gives everyone time to get ready, take photos, and enjoy each moment instead of watching the clock.
The Ceremony: Multiple Spaces, One Property
The Open Ceremony Area has a white arbor, wooden doors, a wooden walkway, and white benches. The Open Air Chapel is enclosed on three sides with an octagon arch and 12 antique church pews, which makes it a covered option if your ceremony calls for shade or shelter. Both spaces are here on the property, so your guests walk from one to the next rather than loading into cars.

If the weather shifts, the Indoor Ballroom is fully air-conditioned and heated, seats up to 150, and has chandeliers, a full kitchen, a couples table, and tablecloths included. Having that backup means the day simply adapts rather than unravels.
The Reception: From Pavilion to Ballroom
The Cedar Pavilion is a covered space with a dedicated dance floor, a DJ and music area, wooden tables with chairs, a couples table under a chandelier, and ceiling fans. The outdoor reception area has a beverage serving bar, cake table, refrigerator, cooler, and ice machine. Free ice up to 250 pounds is included with all wedding packages.
Every wedding package includes use of The Marketplace, our decor shed with signs, mason jars, vases, lanterns, greenery, flowers, wood rounds, and arbor drapes. Four restrooms serve guests across the venue, and event cleanup is included.
Food, Drinks, and Vendor Freedom
Fort Worth Country Memories has an open vendor policy. You can bring your own food or hire any professional caterer you choose, with no vendor surcharges. Alcohol is permitted, and your guests are welcome to bring it. Alcohol is allowed, but service must be handled by our TABC-certified in-house bartender. For the Weekender package, bartender service covering setup, 4-hour serving, and teardown is included.
Conclusion
A wedding day goes fast. You know this already. What stays with people is everything around it, the rehearsal dinner where everyone finally relaxes, the morning your bridesmaids are laughing in the Loft before anyone has even touched a curling iron, the slow breakfast at the Lodge the next day when the rush is finally over.
That is what we built Fort Worth Country Memories for. Not just a ceremony and a reception, but a full weekend that actually feels like yours. When you are ready to see it in person, we would love to walk you through it.
