How to Plan an Intimate Wedding at Fort Worth’s Best Wedding Venue

Planning an intimate wedding means you get to focus on what really matters: the people you love, the moments that count, and a day that feels yours. If you’re searching for a Fort Worth venue that gives you room to breathe, flexibility to customize, and spaces that work for 10 guests or 75, you’re in the right place.

We’ve worked with couples who want a short guest list but a full experience. They want a ceremony under open sky, a cocktail hour that doesn’t feel cramped, a dinner that’s warm and personal, and maybe even a place for their closest friends to stay the night. That’s exactly what we built Fort Worth Country Memories to offer.

What Makes a Venue Right for an Intimate Wedding

Small weddings need a venue that feels intentional, not empty. You want ceremony and reception spaces that work for your actual guest count, services that simplify planning instead of adding tasks, and flexibility to personalize without fighting house rules or required vendors.

Spaces That Scale Down Without Feeling Empty

One challenge with small weddings is finding a venue that fits your group. Our Open-Air Chapel works beautifully for intimate ceremonies. It’s covered and enclosed on three sides, so you have shelter and structure without losing that outdoor feel. The 12 antique church pews create a cozy aisle, and the octagon arch frames your vows.

After the ceremony, your group can move to the Cedar Pavilion for cocktails. The covered seating area has wooden tables and chairs, plus a couple’s table under a chandelier. It’s intimate enough for 28 guests and flexible enough for 75.

Built-In Services That Remove the Guesswork

When you book one of our Intimate Wedding packages, you get a planning session, an on-site venue manager, and a closing assistant. Our advanced planning sessions help create your timeline, ceremony lineup, and the logistics of the entire day.

We also include event cleanup, free use of our Marketplace decor, and up to 250 pounds of free ice. Small details, but they add up when you’re managing everything yourself or working with a limited budget.

An Open Vendor Policy That Gives You Control

We don’t lock you into a preferred vendor list. You can bring your own food, hire any professional caterer, or coordinate a family-style potluck if that’s your style. There are no vendor surcharges.

If you’re serving alcohol, you and your guests may bring it. We do require that it’s served by our TABC-certified bartender, who carries liability insurance. That’s a safety policy, but it also means you’re not responsible for managing the bar all night, or providing insurance or security guards.  Bartender service is available as an add-on for all Intimate Wedding packages.

Extras That Make the Day Feel Special

Even with a small guest list, you probably still want great photos and a few memorable touches. We include a couple’s photo op at the pond, golf cart shuttling for your group, and a personalized photobooth with props. If you want animals, we can bring our miniature horses and zebra, Zoey, to the Corral so your guests can feed and pet them for about an hour.

Our Marketplace has free decor you can pull from: signs, mason jars, vases, lanterns, greenery, flowers, wood rounds, and arbor drapes. You’re welcome to bring your own decor too, and we have rental items available on site if you need something specific.
